New picture of masked Vigilante

A new picture of the masked vigilante has landed on my desk.

This picture was taken by a cabbi in Hells Kitchen New York.  The masked vigilante has seeming struck again.

 Looking back over the first picture and this one, I still do not see any identifying marks.  Based off the dangerous men he is attacking I have a feeling that the streets may take care of him long before we can identify him.

Jessica's apartment is empty

 

I sent Misty Knight over to check out Jessica's apartment.  I gave her the attached photo of Jessica from a few years back.

Misty founds various files Jessica left on the Purple Man.  It even appears she has even taken photo and video surveillance of him.

What is most disturbing however is the fact that all of the food in Jessica's fridge is old.  Dishes from weeks ago were left out. There was also no sign of her packing anything.  This confirms my worst fears.  She confronted the Purple Man and..... now he has her.

From the photos she took of the Purple Man it appears he is going in and out of a hotel lobby.  If I can identify it.  Perhaps I can track them both down.

Picture of Skull Killer where 25 dead Maggia gangsters were found

After showing the picture to my friend Misty Knight she provided me with additional information.  Apparently, a man with a skull emblazoned on his chest was seen leaving a known brothel used by the Maggia crime family.  Inside police found 25 dead gangsters.  All of the gang members in the building were killed but none of the women.  The women seem to be victims, who were all but enslaved by the Maggia.  They were trafficked into the country from South America.  The women were able to provide some murky details on what first many suspected was the work of a rival gang.

The women claim that the killings were the work of one highly armed man.  Who ruthlessly went through the building and killed their capitors.  They said he wore all black except for the marking of a white skull on his shirt.  They claim to have heard his voice once, he said to one of his attackers "Prepare to be Punished".

On the wall written in the blood of one of the gangsters were the words.

There is no Justice, but their is Punishment
The guilty will be PUNISHED

Misty Knight found most of the security footage had been erased by a magnetic device.  However, she was able to pull a single grainy image of the Skull Killer, a man she is calling the Punisher.

The Truck Killer? The Skull Killer?

I was given a file today from friends looking for information on a driver of a truck who ran over numerous officers and SHIELD field agents in the recent fiasco in DC.  With so many eyes turned toward SHIELD and Hydra it seems that this lunatic was lost in the shuffle and was able to quite literally get away with murder.

The criminal in question drove a large Penske truck, it seems he used it as a weapon on numerous occasions to smash officers on foot as well as police vehicles.

The most interesting thing is that when the truck was found the criminal left a calling card.  A large Skull symbol was burned into the metal of the inside compartment.

With photos of both the truck and the killer's symbol I have started a new file.  Though I am somewhat at a loss as to what to call this new menace.

Background:
Luis grew up in NYC, he is from poor Italian family.  He is a high school drop out.  He spent much of his years in out of juvenile detention for a variety of petty crimes and eventually drug dealing.  He eventually became a low level enforcer of the Maggia crime family.  Luis seems to have moved up the Maggia ladder and is now rumored to be a captain of Maggia crime lord Bruno Costa.

Crime:
Luis is suspected of taking part in the murders of Police Officer Frank Castle's family.

Notes/Recent Events:
Luis complains of a stomach issues.  The doctor believes he has an ulcer has prescribed the necessary
treatment.

Note From Warden Tyler                                                                                                             
I have allowed the use of Prison resources and time on the creation of this newsletter in the hopes that it will provide some of you with skills that you can use outside of these hallowed walls.  The newsletter is a privilege and I will be watching both the newsletter and its effect on our population closely.  Any signs of incitement and the newsletter privilege will be revoked.  Use this resource wisely, carry on.

Seagate Going Ons (What we like to call news)                                                                         
Trevor Slattery - While filming a documentary the inmate Trevor Slattery disappeared.  Please contact the Warden immediately if you have information regarding his disappearance.

The cafeteria is excited to announce that Sloppy Joes will be returning to Fridays, as well as Taco Tuesday next month.

The ongoing vandalism in the Bathroom stalls with etchings like "Whirlwinds rule" "Rivals are King" and "Chessmen Forever" will not be tolerated.  The situation is being monitored by the guards.

Dr. Noah Burnstein is a scientist requesting volunteers to undergo a experimental medical testing.  Prisoner will receive a letter of recommendation from the warden as well as a reduced sentence.  Only you can know if the risk of growing extra eyeballs, and glowing skin are worth it.  Neither Seagate nor Dr. Burnstein will be held liable for side effects of the experimental procedures.


Poetry                                                                                                                                              
The poetry selection was made by inmate Trevor Slattery prior to his sudden disappearance.  We felt with his enlightened Shakespearean background he could select an entertaining piece.  He selected the poem Ozymandias on the fall of Kings and Empires by Percy Shelley. Enjoy:

Background:
Mr. Heggs grew up in Harlem.  While not especially large he is very feared within the prison.   This is likely due to his lethal background as a gang enforcer and hit-man.
His background for a criminal is unusual.  He received high marks throughout school until bizarrely dropping out during his junior year.   His family appeared to be upstanding with his father making an honest living as a car mechanic.  What led Mr. Heggs to dropping out from high-school and taking up a career as a hitman is unknown.
Heggs is obsessed with British genteel culture and requires his subordinates to refer to him as "Sir" or "Sir".  I have heard other prisoners refer to Fletcher as "Sir Fletcher" or the "Knight."   This moniker likely stems from this British obsession.  He has the poem "Ozmandias" scrawled on his wall.  I do not know where his interest in British culture comes from but he seems to think that it fancies himself up and makes him more respectable.  This may in fact be working as he has received various suited  guests whose true motivations I can only speculate on.

Crime:
Murder -Was hired as a hitman.  He was convicted of two murders in the first degree.  My sources at law enforcement believe there are many more than two connected to Mr. Heggs.

Notes/Recent Events:
I have heard Fletcher's group referred to as the Chessmen.  They seem to be a well regarded and intimidating force.  They have come into conflict with the White Power Gang called the White Whirlwinds however currently they seem at peace.

Mr. Heggs does not seem fond of the other gang the Rivals who also have Harlem origins.

Mr. Heggs and his Chessmen have become the defacto bodyguards of Trevor Slattery AKA the Mandarin.  Slattery pays Fletcher for his services by running through his Mandarin act.  Fletcher in particular seems fascinated by the accent and the change in demeanor of Mr Slattery.  No doubt the fact that Mr. Slattery is a British national and Fletcher's fondness for British culture have helped in the forging of this seemingly bizarre relationship.

Mr. Heggs is no longer receiving guests directly.  It seems members of his Chessmen gang are acting as intermediaries.  Numerous men in suits have visited the Chessmen in recent days.  Despite, my surveillance of the meetings I have not detected anything untoward.  I have noted that the meetings often mention British novels and I have no doubt this is part of some sinister code created by Mr. Heggs.

Background:
Mr Hammer was a former industrialist who rubbed elbows with some of the biggest power brokers in the country.  His company was on the forefront of recreating the Iron Man armor used by the vigilante Tony Stark AKA IronMan. In my opinion he is a weak, melodramatic wuss and is high on my watch list for vulnerable inmates.

Crime:
The exact nature of the crimes committed by Mr. Hammer are classified.  He came in as a Class 5 SHIELD Prisoner for crimes against humanity.  My guess is that in Hammer's competition with Stark he crossed lines that should not have been crossed.

Notes/Recent Events:
Failed to complete job - Removed from duty.  None of the items built by Hammer seemed to work in prison machine shop costing Seagate thousands.  Did the government really buy stuff from this guy?

Filed a petition to remove items from Trevor Slattery's cell.  This petition was denied.  Mr. Hammer seems to take offense to Mr. Slattery's notoriety.  I will not have my jail used as a boxing ring for these two pieces of scum pillow fight contest.

Mr Hammer has taken up a relationship with another inmate known as "Baby"

Mr Hammer has begun an association with Dave Cannon.  My worry is that he is working on the same project that Scott Lang was working on that ended in trouble.
 Update: My guards have recovered a sketch from Dave Cannon's cell that shows what he calls "Whirlwind Armor".
