Background:
Carl Lucas is from Harlem NYC.  He had a small rap sheet from working for a local crime boss called Sonny "The Hammer" Caputo.   He was a member of a Harlem street gang called the Rivals.  We have recently locked up a few members of this group.  They have butted heads with almost all of the other gangs at Seagate.  There are recorded altercations between them and Chessmen, The Whirlwinds and the Diablos.

He seemed to go straight for a period and had a job.  However, he recently came to Seagate after a massive amount of heroine was discovered in his apartment.  Apparently, his going straight was just a means of hiding a massive drug running operation.

Crime:
Drug trafficking

Notes/Recent Events:
Request for Volunteers on Cell Study experiment 
Mr. Lucas has applied as a test subject of Mr Burnstein in return for earlee parole.  Despite, the drug offense the period of time he spent away from crime does give me hope he can be reformed.  Lets just hope he survives the experiment.

Dave Cannon's blueprints for Whirlwind Armor

Dave Cannon's Whirlwind suit sketch

One of my guards found this drawing amongst a variety of paperwork in Dave Cannon's cell.  It appears to be a design for a suit similar to the Iron Man suit used by the vigilante Tony Stark.

I have heard that Cannon was pursuing  this type of a project.  He has been seen working with both Scott Lang and Justin Hammer and guards have over heard him mentioning a suit.  I still find the prospect of Dave Cannon building a high tech suit a laughable prospect.  None the less, seeing a sketch of what Cannon is envisioning freezes my blood.  Apparently, Cannon is calling the suit, the Whirlwind Armor.

The thought of a psychopath with this kind do power is frightening prospect.

I am having my guards look for other sketches and to watch for any other signs of Cannon's Whirlwind Armor project.

The Truck Killer? The Skull Killer?

I was given a file today from friends looking for information on a driver of a truck who ran over numerous officers and SHIELD field agents in the recent fiasco in DC.  With so many eyes turned toward SHIELD and Hydra it seems that this lunatic was lost in the shuffle and was able to quite literally get away with murder.

The criminal in question drove a large Penske truck, it seems he used it as a weapon on numerous occasions to smash officers on foot as well as police vehicles.

The most interesting thing is that when the truck was found the criminal left a calling card.  A large Skull symbol was burned into the metal of the inside compartment.

With photos of both the truck and the killer's symbol I have started a new file.  Though I am somewhat at a loss as to what to call this new menace.

Clue in the Misty Knight Case

Mysterious Note

The word was put out through Seagate.  Rewards would be given for information on the feral murders happening in NYC.  To no one's surprise we heard zilch.  The prisoners have an extreme anti-snitch culture.

Then suddenly a mysterious paper flew beneath my door.  I looked for who slid it but they disappeared before I made it to the door.

The paper says:

YOU NEED R.U. Rossum

I assume R.U. Rossum is a name but it does not show up in any of my databases. I will pass the name onto Misty, perhaps it will mean more to her.

I am worried about Jessica

Who is the Purpleman?

I am worried about Jessica.  It has been a week since she last sent me her message about pursuing this Purpleman character.  While, Jessica is a very bold and capable person, I can't help but fear she may be over her head.

I have asked an officer to check up on her apartment, she does not have close ties with her foster family so it may be up to me to file a missing persons report.

Lets face it, I can't expect much of the police in this instance.

If the Purpleman does have her, it may be up to me to find her period.  Who would believe me?  A Purpleman?  It sounds like non-sense.

Picture of masked vigilante

NYC PD has provided a picture of a masked vigilante who apparently beat to death a criminal.  I have been asked to see if he resembles any of our previous inmates.

The picture is dark and grainy, the man's face is masked, I can't say that it stirs up any memories of anyone specific.

I will hold on to it.  My guess is that we will be seeing more of this masked devil.

Dr. Noah Burnstein now has one volunteer.  However, others will be accepted.  So if you don't mind growing three eyes or a tail please contact him.  Seagate will  not be held liable for any damages to your person from the Burnstein's experiments.

Welcome to the Seagate files, I am not sure why you are interested in the ramblings of an old man like me.
There are mysteries in these files, unsolved cases, ciphers, unspeakable things....whispers.  Dark things, terrible crimes fill my mind and I find myself dwelling on them more and more everyday.  Something is happening in this world of ours.  Heretofore I have been unable to put the pieces together.  Perhaps you and that Peter fellow can make something of these files. Background:
Mr. Carboni grew up in an Italian neighborhood in NYCC.  He had descent grades until dropping out in High School.  He now three butcher shops, a construction company and a waste dispossal company.  No crimes have stuck on Carboni but he is believed to be a member of the Maggia crime family.  Some intel has Carboni as a major Maggia boss.  Given his large amount of businesses this would be the case.

Carboni cites his squaky clean record and says the allegations against him are nothing but discrimination.

Carboni strikes me as a dumb thug and I am amazed he has avoided criminal charges this far.

Crime:
Assault/Battery was witnessed beating a waitress for unknown reasons.  Charges have been dropped but Carboni is being held to see if he can provide any information on the Castle family murders.

He is suspected of having ties to the Maggia Crime Family.

Notes/Recent Events:
Mr. Carboni will be released soon.  He does not talk without his lawyer present.

Background:
Luis grew up in NYC, he is from poor Italian family.  He is a high school drop out.  He spent much of his years in out of juvenile detention for a variety of petty crimes and eventually drug dealing.  He eventually became a low level enforcer of the Maggia crime family.  Luis seems to have moved up the Maggia ladder and is now rumored to be a captain of Maggia crime lord Bruno Costa.

Crime:
Luis is suspected of taking part in the murders of Police Officer Frank Castle's family.

Notes/Recent Events:
Luis complains of a stomach issues.  The doctor believes he has an ulcer has prescribed the necessary
treatment.

I have allowed the use of Prison resources and time on the creation of this newsletter in the hopes that it will provide some of you with skills that you can use outside of these hallowed walls.  The newsletter is a privilege and I will be watching both the newsletter and its effect on our population closely.  Any signs of incitement and the newsletter privilege will be revoked.  Use this resource wisely, carry on.

Seagate Going Ons (What we like to call news)                                                                         
Trevor Slattery - While filming a documentary the inmate Trevor Slattery disappeared.  Please contact the Warden immediately if you have information regarding his disappearance.

The cafeteria is excited to announce that Sloppy Joes will be returning to Fridays, as well as Taco Tuesday next month.

The ongoing vandalism in the Bathroom stalls with etchings like "Whirlwinds rule" "Rivals are King" and "Chessmen Forever" will not be tolerated.  The situation is being monitored by the guards.

Dr. Noah Burnstein is a scientist requesting volunteers to undergo a experimental medical testing.  Prisoner will receive a letter of recommendation from the warden as well as a reduced sentence.  Only you can know if the risk of growing extra eyeballs, and glowing skin are worth it.  Neither Seagate nor Dr. Burnstein will be held liable for side effects of the experimental procedures.

The poetry selection was made by inmate Trevor Slattery prior to his sudden disappearance.  We felt with his enlightened Shakespearean background he could select an entertaining piece.  He selected the poem Ozymandias on the fall of Kings and Empires by Percy Shelley. Enjoy:

Notes - On Apparent Escape of Trevor Slattery

There have been no escapes at Seagate under my tenor until now.  Trevor Slattery has apparently escaped using the documentary crew filming as a ruse.  This is a very embarrassing event.

Of all the inmates I expected to pull off something like this Trevor Slattery was not even on the list.  I apparently let my guard down.

Jackson Norris the documentary film maker who was in charge of the documentary was obviously not who he said he was.  I am reviewing the background information on him now to see if I can kind any peculiarities.

Teams are hunting for Mr Slattery and Mr Norris now.  I have no doubt that both will be caught.

Background:
The information in this file I am afraid is murky at best.  The details here are based off my recollections of events that transpired at the Prison years ago.

The exact file on Prisoner X was taken by an unknown government agency when they came and took him away.  They claimed it was to hold him in more secure facilities.  At the time I was relieved to be rid of his dangerous presence but now I wonder what the true intentions of the government agency actually were.  It is bizarre that no files exist and I am forced to write down the information here from my own memory.  Luckily, this prisoner stands out in my mind and I am confident I can at least gather the major details of his case correctly.

The story of Prisoner X was a sad one.  He came from a home of extreme abuse.  He and his brother were forced to hunt for food by their drunk and abusive father.  They were given 1 bullet a piece for this task and if they missed they were beaten horribly.  It seems this abusive game resulted in the boy becoming a sociopath as well as developing an uncanny accuracy ability.  At an age of ? he was transfered into foster care when his brother burned down the family home killing their father.

Prisoner X was transferred from various foster homes.  Foster parents reported he was violent, uncaring, and devoid of human emotion.  Parents reported that the only pleasure he seemed to take was from causing pain and injury to others.  There were reports of abuse on animals, both pets and wildlife.  Eventually, he found a foster family with a passion for baseball and he seemed to straighten up.  Apparently, Prisoner X's ability of accuracy lent itself to pitching and he quickly rose through the High school ranks as a top pitcher.  The family felt that he at least attempted to fit into society and began following rules.  They were not sure if he ever felt true empathy but at least he began to fake it.  They did note he would become murderously angry and lash out at anything around him if he ever missed.  Prisoner X's baseball career came to a terrible end when Prisoner X was teased by a batter.  Prisoner X threw a fast ball that hit the batter with such a force that it shattered his helmet and snapped his neck.  Rather than act compassionately he laughed at the dieing student and his grieving teammates and family.  He was immediately entered into a juvenile facility.

At the juvenile facility he had numerous violent incidents of the exact nature I can not recall.  These incidents all involved Prisoner X using various items as projectiles in which he could very accurately throw them with lethal results.  This included plates being used to break wind pipes, powders used to blind, small utensils used to pierce,  all these acts done from great distances.  After an incident where a guard nearly died he was moved under my care in Seagate.

I initially looked upon the file of Prisoner X with disbelief that a juvenile could not be handled correctly.  He quickly showed why he was regarded so dangerous when he nearly killed five other much larger inmates with bars of soap.  He was moved into isolation where we had a special program of keeping him away from all items.  We asked for advice from SHIELD and other government agencies.  Eventually, one came and took young Prisoner X away.

Crime:
Murder - Was sent first to a Juvenile facility after killing another player at a baseball game.  Due to complications and health concerns for other prisoners he was sent to Seagate.  I no longer have the exact information of what happened at the Juvenile facility but if memory serves he nearly killed a guard by throwing a lima-bean down his throat.  Due to the extreme danger of holding him he was transferred to Seagate.

Notes/Recent Events:
I recently saw a file from local Detective Misty Knight that shows a series of assassinations that seem eerily similar to the skill set of Prisoner X.  It was due to seeing this file that I have tried to drudge up facts on this mysterious young man in the obscure possibility the two are connected.
